The 'Cité Mokpokpo' social housing project has officially been launched.
Many Togolese workers could see their dream of owning a comfortable, affordable home become a reality in the near future, as construction work on 1,000 social housing properties gets under way in the next two to three months as part of the 'Cité Mokpokpo' pilot project. The agreements and memoranda of understanding relating to this project were signed last Friday in the 'Entente' room at the Centre Administratif des Services Economiques et Financiers (Administrative Centre for Economic and Financial Services). The documents were signed by Togo's Minister for Urban Planning and Housing, Fiatuwo Kwadjo Sessénou, the Chief Executive Officer of Abri 2000, Elie Touma, the Finance Minister, Adji Otèth Ayassor, and representatives of the project's financial partners, Orabank, Banque Atlantique and BIA-Togo.
