Ivory Coast

Orabank Ivory Coast paid fitting tribute to its female customers to mark International Women's Day, which is celebrated around the world on 8 March 2015 and serves to remind us that women do not always enjoy the same civil, political and social rights as men.

To mark the 2015 event, Orabank Ivory Coast gave its female employees a length of traditional pagne fabric and 15,000 CFA francs to contribute towards tailoring costs.

Shortly afterwards, when the bank opened on Monday 30 March 2015, the women all proudly wore the outfits they had had made from this fabric and were later served cocktails after the bank had closed for the day.
