The official opening of Orabank Burkina's Tenkodoko branch took place on Thursday 29 January 2015. This new branch in the town of Tenkodoko, which is located approximately 185 km from the capital Ouagadougou, forms part of Orabank Burkina's strategy to expand its network.

The ceremony was attended by local authority officials, economic stakeholders and local dignitaries and residents.

Before the ceremony, the bank's Chief Executive Officer paid courtesy visits to representatives of the local traditional and religious authorities, as well as to the town's administrative authorities. During the ceremony, gifts (motorbikes and fuel coupons) were presented to the national police force and the Gendarmerie and provisions were distributed at the Nutrition Recovery Centre at the town's hospital.

The Tenkodoko branch is staffed by a three-person team led by manager Hermann Yameogo.
